Mallary Hope releases EP

Tomorrow, 8/4, MCA Records will release Mallary Hope’s three-song digital EP entitled Love Lives On, which will be available at iTunes and all other digital partners. Mallary is a co-writer on all three tracks - “Love Lives On,” “Times Like These” and “Wildflowers.”

The response to Mallary’s powerfully emotional debut single, “Love Lives On,” has been overwhelming and a dream come true for this 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Georgia. “It is unreal to hear your song on the radio for the first time,” says Mallary. “There is something even more unreal about hearing a song that you’ve had a hand in writing. ‘Love Lives On’ was inspired by a conversation that I had with my sister. I went home and somehow the story started coming together in my head. I was given a melody and a few lines. Then, with the help of my co-writers, Matthew West and Shane Stevens, it became a song. Sometimes I think, ‘What if I had never asked my sister anything that day? Would this song have ever been written?’ It's really important to me to make music that is real, and that means something to someone. I hope that we are accomplishing that.”
