Hope To Perform Following Northwest-Dalton Football Game

Country music artist Mallary Hope will return to her alma mater on Friday to play a free concert for the community after the Northwest Whitfield High School football game against Dalton High School.

Hope, a Cohutta native, will begin the concert at the football stadium immediately after the Northwest Bruins face the Catamounts.

Hope said she pursued her dream with a single-minded determination for as long as she can remember. That dream came true with the release of her debut single, the emotional “Love Lives On,” which is airing on country music stations across the nation.

By her sophomore year at Northwest, Hope was performing in 150 shows a year. She signed a recording contract with MCA Records last November at age 21. Her music is available for download at the iTunes Store or at Amazon.com. For more information, visit www.mallaryhope.com or www.umgnashville.com.

Northwest athletics officials and the Northwest Whitfield Bruins Quarterback Club invite the community to enjoy the long-time rivalry between the Northwest and Dalton high school football teams. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m.
